MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) - Investigators in Washington state say a 34-year-old man suspected of stabbing a judge and shooting a sheriff's deputy with her own weapon in a courthouse struggle called his mom for ride after Friday's attack.

Grays Harbor County authorities on Saturday morning identified Steven Daniel Kravetz as a suspect. They say he ran from the courthouse to a lawyer's office in Montesano after the attack and asked to use the phone.

KIRO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/Ae6lmW ) that investigators believe he called his mom, identified as Roberta Dougherty, and that she apparently gave him a ride to the Olympia area.

Judge David Edwards and Deputy Polly Davin were treated and released from a hospital hours after the attack.
