Photojournalism on Your Phone

Now you can have a world of photojournalism in the palm of your hand. More people are reading The Times on smartphones, and you can now experience Lens on the New York Times iPad/iPhone and Android app. Here’s how:

For iPad/iPhone users:
1) Open the app and click on “Sections”
2) Click on the “+” icon in the upper right corner
3) Click on the “Blogs” tab
4) Scroll down to “Lens,” check the box and click “Done”
5) Go back to “Sections” and Lens will now have been added to your list

For Android users, Lens will automatically be on your blog list. To access Lens:
1) Open the app and click on “Sections”
2) Click on the “Blogs” tab
3) Scroll down to “Lens”

When Lens first comes up, it will be with the slide show and the text. Click on the image to start the slide show.

Voilà! The world of photography anywhere, anytime.
