A Michigan man has reportedly been charged with felony battery after allegedly punching his daughter's basketball coach into unconsciousness.
Shelly Miller, 37, of Michigan City, was arrested on Friday and charged with felony battery in connection to the March 7 incident at St. Stanislaus School, WSBT.com reports.
During practice that day, two players -- one of whom was Miller's daughter -- got into an argument and were punished by being ordered to run laps inside the gym. Miller later arrived at the school and punched assistant coach Jeffrey Yackus. Police said Yackus was knocked unconscious after Miller punched him repeatedly in the face and head.
Robert Johnson, the team's head coach, stopped Miller, who then left the school. Yackus was later treated for a concussion.
Bond has been set for Miller at $15,000, the website reports.
